SOBRE MI / ABOUT ME

Nací en 1979 y crecí en el conurbano bonaerense, en casas donde las fotos no siempre alcanzaban para armar una historia completa.

Tal vez por eso, con los años mi trabajo empezó a girar alrededor de lo que falta: los huecos, las versiones, los silencios, lo que la memoria intenta sostener aun cuando se deshilacha.

Trabajo con fotografía familiar, archivo doméstico y narrativas sobre la memoria.

Me interesan las imágenes que sobreviven al uso, al tiempo, a la humedad de los cajones y a los cambios de una vida; las fotos que no fueron tomadas para ser arte, sino para no olvidar, para dejar constancia, para mantener un vínculo.

Hoy mis proyectos incluyen libros, fanzines, charlas y obras que dialogan entre lo íntimo y lo colectivo. Busco contar historias que se sostienen en lo frágil, en lo incompleto, en aquello que persiste aun cuando ya no está.

Si mis imágenes y textos pueden abrir una pregunta, despertar un recuerdo o encender una pequeña chispa de reconocimiento, entonces siento que la memoria—de alguna manera—se reveló.

I was born in 1979 and grew up in the outskirts of Buenos Aires, in homes where photographs weren’t always enough to build a complete story.

Maybe that’s why, over the years, my work began to revolve around what’s missing: the gaps, the versions, the silences, what memory tries to hold on to even as it unravels.

I work with family photography, domestic archives, and narratives about memory.
I’m drawn to images that survive use, time, the humidity of drawers, and the changes of a life—photos that weren’t taken to be art, but to avoid forgetting, to leave a trace, to preserve a bond.

Today my projects include books, zines, talks, and works that move between the intimate and the collective. I try to tell stories sustained by what’s fragile, incomplete, by what persists even when it’s no longer there.

If my images and texts can open a question, awaken a memory, or spark a small moment of recognition, then I feel that memory—in its own way—has revealed itself.
